COLLEGE HOUSING NORTHWEST PROVIDES BELOW MARKET RATE HOUSING TO STUDENTS IN PORTLAND AND CORVALLIS. it's an organization for students by students.

College Housing Northwest, CHNW asked me to assist them with two projects. The first was to create a portfolio of images using a participatory design process to gain insight on the most important aspects of the organization. The second was to design and facilitate their annual board retreat using design methodologies in a highly engaged manner. In the board retreat, we focused on designing harvest and creating activities that allowed the conversations and insights to be carried forward. For the past three years, I have facilitated their annual board retreat and continue to facilitate design sprints to help their teams move through "the stuck." I have also provided training to staff to help them embody the facilitation techniques and use them in their daily work.
